Dear colleagues:

Through this letter I inform you that, once the deadline for nominations to the different positions of the Executive Committee has been presented only candidate for each position, to fill five seats on the Committee.

Thus, there are no alternatives, they call off the elections and made the direct appointment of candidates.

Thus, the new Executive Committee of the Association, beginning today and over the next two years, is configured as follows:

ÁLAVA AND ELECTIONS TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE CONGRESS AJA XV ALAVA

As previously reported by the Executive Committee of the AJA, by e-mail sent on 30 September, on Friday 31 October 2008 will be held at Headquarters from Iltre. Álava Bar Assembly General Meeting of the Association at 18.00 pm, with its agenda:

A) Report for the Executive Committee.

The agenda of this Assembly be informed of such doubts or questions of interest to be handled by members of the Executive Committee of the Management Report of the respective departments. For this purpose, and since, as we warned, this year attend the Annual General Meeting held by the current Executive Committee is accountable for its management and call elections for positions in this body, we refer you considered most appropriate, prior to conclusion of the Assembly, the Management Report of all departments and commissions so that you can read or analyze it peacefully, so the only day of the Assembly will answer questions or suggestions you have raised it.

According to Article 29 of the Statute of the Association, having been two years since the election of the current Committee Executive's time to call new elections.

All those who are interested in submitting your application for different positions of the Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Member) must notify in writing the current Executive Committee within fifteen days after this letter of invitation, in order to make them public TEN DAYS prior to the conclusion elections.

Applications will be personal to the respective positions, each candidate may present no more than one office.

The vote shall be in writing, to be elected who obtain the largest number of votes cast and in case of a tie, there will be a runoff between the tied. If there is a second tie, the office will access the most senior member of the Association.

Finally, as usual since the establishment of our Association, after the conclusion of the Assembly and, in this case also the elections, we will all of DINNER.
